I. Focused on Instructional Content

| Objectives for both teacher and students
| Demonstrate the instructional strategy used by the teacher and provide evidence of student learning.

III. Focused on Leadership Skills
| Teacher/Student centered goal
| Objectives for both teacher and students
| Demonstrate the leadership skills focused on student, school, and/or district needs as documented through the leadership project.

Candidates should remember to use the "Levels of Professional Development" (Awareness, Application, Management, and Refinement) when planning activities. This will insure that new skills and knowledge are well established as the candidates share them with students and colleagues.

As you develop goals for the three CEO areas concentrate on the following steps:

Goal Writing Requirements
Three major requirements to remember as you write your goals are:

As you develop goals for your CEO Plan, remember:
Each of the three goals you develop must be connected and related to the documents listed above.
All goals must be realistic.
NOTE: If you are not yet comfortable with identifying and selecting instructional strategies (teaching/learning techniques, best practices), you may want to research best practices of teaching techniques.
